Wiide Awake

The last few days have been a haze. I got sick last Thursday night and have been sleeping since then waking periodically to use the bathroom and take my medicine. I think I've overslept because I can't seem to fall asleep now and my water tastes funny.

I remember Bill bringing me some soft aloe tissue and a pink donut. I felt good for a couple of hours on Saturday and Bill offered to drive me around to shop for Christmas gifts. The highlight of my time awake was taking a picture with Hunky Santa. Not the real one though - just the cardboard life-size version that the Beverly Center has scattered all over the mall.

The best part of the weekend, however, was that we got a Wii! We didn't think it was that hard to get but after visiting numerous stores for 2 weeks, Bill finally got one by standing in line at 6am at the ghetto Circuit City near our house. When I finally woke up we played the Raving Rabbids game until I fell asleep again. It was so fun. The Wii was suppose to be our Christmas gift to each other but since he bought the whole system plus games, I don't know what to get him. Good thing online shops are open.
