About a year after Bill and I started dating, his ex-girlfriend Neenah began seeing a guy named Wil. Neenah and Wil moved into a house two doors down. Tina & Bill. Neenah and Wil. So weird. To make things even more awkward, they bought a blue Land Rover knowing that, at the time, Bill was driving a green Land Rover. I really can't stand this chick. She is my Newman in this unwelcomed Seinfeld parody. I don't understand why she would choose to move so close to us.
It seems like the only time I bump into her is at the end of a run when I'm all sweaty and wearing mismatched running clothes. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be nice to her but I really don't want to be. Usually I bite my lip and say as little as possible.
After a short run Saturday morning, we literally ran into Neenah & Will (again) on the sidewalk. She asked if we had any left over flea medication. Her husband Wil promptly answered "Probably not honey, Bear's been gone for a while - why would you ask them that?" We said that we would look but probably didn't have anything. Stupid Neenah in her $5 knock-off Dior sunglasses then replied with "You guys use that cheap stuff, that cheapy cheap stuff - oh we don't want that."
Huh, what just happened? God I wish I could think faster. I mean why would you ask someone to give you something and then proceed to call them cheap. The more I think about it the more it pisses me off. That was passive aggressiveness at its best/worst right?
