Ctrl+Z

My favorite keyboard command is Ctrl+Z. This simple little command lets you undo things, a do-over, like back in elementary school when you get hit in the head with the ball and your team technically loses but people feel bad for you so they say "Do-Over!" (That was a horrible run on sentence huh? but I don't know how to fix it.)

The command feels like it takes you back a few seconds to before you made that wrong/bad decision. It sets things right and places you in a position to make a better decision. I use the command so much that my mind is starting to blur the boundaries.

(Thanks Hanie for the image!)

Taking a wrong turn... Ctrl+Z! Changing the radio station only to hear a R.Kelly song... Ctrl+Z! Throwing something in the men's room toilet at work that causes the toilet to over flow and then flushing one more time desperately hoping that just one more flush will make the over flow stop. Ctrl+Z! Ctrl+Z!

Since the plumber couldn't make it till way later I spent yesterday evening with my dad with our hands in the toilet. We actually had to remove the toilet altogether and then reinstall it. At least I know to fix an industrial toilet now. When he removed the object he said "What idiot threw this in here? I'm going to call a meeting tomorrow with the warehouse staff and find out who did this." I fessed up - I had to. I think Armando saw me throw it in.
